Learn to Lead

At Coaches Aid, we take leadership seriously. A critical part of any coaching is leadership and leadership development. We think there are many "coaches" for our kids as they grow up…from their team coach to their teacher, principal, parents and grandparents.

What is the National Leadership Development Series?

In an effort to help enhance the leadership development process of kids, we have incorporated several courses for our members and friends. Starting in September, 2011 Coaches Aid is offering our National Leadership Development Series (NLDS). This program offers schools or clubs to have the chance to have one of our dynamic speakers provide an individual leadership series presentation at no charge!

Doug Maier

Doug has been coaching basketball as well as mentoring high school and college athletes for more than 20 years. He also spent time working in the athletic department at Wake Forrest University. In addition to his athletic experience, Doug has been highly successful in developing and leading large teams in the fortune 500 corporate world.

During our presentations, Doug takes great care to talk to students about the qualities needed to be a successful leader in school, work and life. He also shares some impactful personal stories that helped shape his life. He will even have the kids interact on stage while handing out a few free gifts along the way.

It can even be FREE!

While there is a modest base speaking engagement fee, we're so serious about helping kids learn the qualities of becoming our future leaders, that we will work with you to enable the NLDS seminars to be free. No cost to the schools whatsoever. To inquire about scheduling an event, contact Kelly Smith at ksmith@coachesaid.com
