Who might be the sleepers in each area, that can possibly pull off an upset.

Area 1- Loaded with quality teams, Merritt, Pond Creek, Laverne, Texhoma, Beaver, Drummond, Okeene.

Area II.- Loaded- Hydro, Ft.Cobb, Cyril, Chattanooga, Binger, Blair, Wilson,

Area III. Earlsboro, Welch, Calumet, Oilton,

Area IV.- Stuart, Allen, Cameron,

any thoughts.

I would say that you are leaving out Frontier in Area 1. Tough hard-nosed team who is well coached.

I consider Frontier to be a favorite and not a sleeper in area 1.

I think Area 2 will by far be the toughest.

BBforever and Cowboys....You guys are forgetting the favorite in Area II....Velma. They have arguably the best player in the Class, are very well coached, and match up well with the other 3 contenders in the Area. I say Velma beats Cobb on Fri, then Cobb gets beat by Hydro on Sat.

Blair wont make it to the 2nd round of regionals. They dont play anybody. Tipton is the best team they have played and Tipton beat them. Playing Davidson four times a season doesnt exactly prepare you for the playoffs.

And how do you leave out Wright City in Area IV? They should be the favorite.

Frontier should be a favorite but i don't know if thats the case, i think merrit is better and you left out seiling as another tough team in Area I.

Area II- i dont think sterling is the favorite they may make it to the Area championship but don't think they will rebound after a loss to velma. And i would take both Blair and Wilson off the contenders list they both go home early in regionals.

Area III-Earlsboro the only real threat IMO.

Area IV-Three horse race Stuart id the only one that has a chance.

BALLS....You may wanna direct your ''TINA'' towards the guy who lists sleepers on a forum titled TOP CONTENDERS IN EACH AREA. He also listed the defending State Champs as a ''sleeper'' capable of pulling an upset in Area II. Cobb is down from last year, but I would hardly list them as a sleeper. That Area is Velma's to lose. Hydro and Cobb can fight it out for the other spot. The team that is getting too much run is Sterling. They beat Cobb early in the season and have done nothing since. No good wins other than that.

Wow didn't mean to start a fight! Your right bad forum title, with the favorites left out, Top 8., who are the contenders. Maybe thats what I should have started with. Oh! yeah, Sterling hasn't beat anyone since they beat Cobb, But Velma hasn't beat anyone since they beat Sterling.
