Who are the top 10-15 teams in slow pitch? Leedey, and Red Oak, are probably the favorites. Hammon should be as well. How many return form Shattuck and Covington-Douglas? Is Maud, Moss, and Coleman going to be able to reload? What about the schools that came with a game, an out, a run from making the tournament?

Covington-Douglas graduated 3.. 2 outfielders and catcher. (State Semi-finals in 2011) All of their top offensive players return. Should be another great season!

Varnum won 33 games last year, was one out and one run from state. Had one senior, who got hurt during spring break. So they are really returning all their starters. Should be in the hunt again this year.

Mauds fastpitcher had been injured during the basketball season. I believe she plays SS or 3rd in slowpitch not sure how she will be come new season, she has been cheering though. As for a replacement on catcher Im not sure what they have planned, also have a new coach for this school year I believe?? If their senior slowpitcher comes out they could run again (did not play fastpitch this fall). Goodluck to the lady tigers on a reappearance.

Curious homesick but didn't maud and Varnum play eachother to go to state last year? If so hopefully they won't again. Good clubs.

Yeppp, that was one heck of a game, Varnum was one out and one run from the state tournament.
15-14? Something like that both teams played their heart out, it was to bad someone had to lose.

The Fastpitch Pitcher at Maud is their SS in slow....she is fine and ready to go...The other two who didn't play FP are back in the fold. The SP Pitcher from last year will pitch some and probably play some 1B...got a good Freshmen Pitcher also.Their FP Catcher and SP 3B is out with a knee injury. They have 3 Freshmen that will contribute right now...Probably all three would of started last year had they not been 8th Graders..LOL
