Swish has been with CoachesAid since February 2001, but has been covering high school sports in Oklahoma for more than 14 years. Some have called him "the rock star" and others the "home run hitter." He laughs at them all and refers to himself as a complete idiot. Warning before reading: Swish's content may or may not be about sports. Read at the risk of your own IQ, but please try to enjoy.
As we gear up for our first week of scrimmages, this Knox City (apparently a six-man team in Texas) fan is already in mid-season - and possibly post-season - form.
He may not have all his faculties - and her certainly doesn't have all his teeth - but you've got to love his enthusiasm and his ability to work up a sweat during this nearly eight-minute...ummm...workout. If you don't believe me, check out the sweat stain under his collar at the beginning of the video and then again at the end:

Knox City is ranked 15th in UIL Six-Man Division 1 to start the season. They were 8-4 last year and lost in the second round of the playoffs. Throckmorton, which is just a little over an hour's drive southwest of Wichita Falls, TX, is probably the favorite to win State and Knox City will have to beat them to at least make the State Championship game. Knox City lost to Throckmorton 65-20 in Week 9 (Oklahoma's Week 8) last year.
