FIL World Championships on U.S Soil in 1998 in Denver, CO

Coming to Denver July 10-19, a record 38 nations will be traveling to the Colorado capitol for the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championships. Held this year at Dicks Sporting Goods Park, the greatest lacrosse players in the world will be competing in an action packed series of matches. Teaming up with Coaches Aid this summer on several US Lacrosse National and Regional Tournaments, the Denver World Championships will have nearly 100 games covered to view on the coachesaid.com World Championship channel (see schedule below).

With nail-biting intensity, this years competition measn the United States will be defending their own crown. In the 2010 competition, Canada and America battled it out in the finals in Manchester, England but the U.S. came out victorious. From 4 teams in 1967, the now record 38 team lineup demonstrates its not only the “fastest sport on two feet” but also quickly growing in popularity world-wide as 142 games will be played over 10 days.  The opening match is sure to get both players and fans adrenaline pumping as Canada and the U.S. compete again after their last match in the 2010 Championships. This year in Denver will be the first time the event been held on U.S. soil since 1998.

Coaches Aid makes it easy for fans to purchase a 60-day access package for all US Lacrosse-hosted events (including its youth tournaments and the FIL World Championship) live and on demand for only $29.95 or $9.95 for an individual game. Order access packages and games easily at coachesaid.com/worldlax2014 Both organizations are looking forward to the partnership as their goals and mission for sports and youth alike go hand in hand. Coaches Aid, renowned for being one of the leading producers in high definition, web-based coverage of athletic events in the nation, is thrilled to provide their services to fans for one of the premier sporting events of the U.S. calendar year.

Coaches Aid has already produced webcasts of playoff games at the US Lacrosse Southeast Championships June 8 in Raleigh, N.C., and Central Championships June 15 in Madison, Wis. Those games remain available for purchase. Coaches Aid will stream bracket-round games from the US Lacrosse West Championships June 29 in San Jose, Calif., and the sixth annual US Lacrosse U15 National Championships July 23 in Aurora, Colo.

"The opportunity to broadcast the highest level of play in lacrosse with dozens of international teams is a privilege and an honor. We hope that every lacrosse enthusiast enjoys the hundreds of hours of broadcasting that will be available from the FIL World Lacrosse Championship. Welcome to Colorado!"
