Large School Red 84, Large School Grey 68

McAlester's Cliff Smitherman pumped in 23 points and five rebounds to lead the Red squad to victory against the Grey in the Large School OBCA All Star game comprised of players from Class 6A, 5A and 4A.

Smitherman hit nine of 13 from the field, including three three-pointers, while Union's J.C. Hartzler had a big effort as well with 15 points, including seven of 10 from the field, and seven rebounds.

The Red was clinging to a 36-33 lead at halftime before pulling away behind scorching 58 percent shooting from the field over the final two periods. They also capitalized on a massive 57-32 rebounding advantage.

El Reno's Connor Hayden posted a terrific performance to lead the way for the Grey, finishing with a team-high 22 points on eight of 16 shooting (including four treys) and five rebounds. A.J. Holland of Del City added 10 points while Putnam North's Joe Summers had nine.

Class 3A All Stars 94, Class 2A All Stars 83

In a tight contest throughout, the Class 3A All Stars made enough plays down the stretch to post the victory.

Haskell's Dalton Cefalone and Centennial's DaSean Carolina each canned seven of 13 from the field, finishing with 17 and 16 points respectively to pace the 3A attack as they shot 45 percent as a team for the game. Carolina also pulled down a team-high seven rebounds.

The 3A squad also got great contributions from Logan Scott of Caney Valley and Darnel Embry from Prague with 14 points each. Washington's Jesse Nixon chipped in nine, Kellyville's Johnathan Buckley had eight and Okemah's Kyler Lee chipped in seven.

It was a sizzling start for Class 2A as they nailed 49 percent from the field in the opening half but managed just 39 percent after the break, although kept it close by hitting six three-pointers.

Five players reached double figures led by Preston's Chance LeBlanc with 18 points. Javis Flynn from Watonga posted 14 points and dished out four assists. Pioneer's Brett McNaughton and Colbert's Keith Scruggs added 11 points apiece while Dale's Daniel Banks had 10.

Class A All Stars 82, Class B All Stars 76

The Class A All Stars rode a 30-point fourth quarter explosion to rally for the victory. Class B led 61-52 entering the final stanza before watching the Class A group rally, largely behind free throws whee they outscored Class B by a whopping 33-12 margin.

Sterling's Jacob Quickle and Wright City's Colten Converse led the assault with 16 points apiece with Quickle knocking down 12 of 17 at the charity stripe. John Lazenby III from Glencoe also hit double figures with 11 points while Fort Cobb's Gavan Steinmetz added nine and Cheyenne's Austin Thrash and Hydro-Eakly's Taylor Rains chipped in eight apiece. Stuart grad Turner Brewer also added seven.

Class B was spurred by Burlington's Garrett Butler, who canned 10 of 14 field goals and posted a team-high 22 points. Tony Simmons from Henryetta-Wilson notched 17 points and four steals while Temple's Aaron Holden contributed nine points. Class B got off to a fast start with 55 percent shooting but faded in the second half, hitting just 35 percent from the field.
