High School Fantasy Football - Year 2 on its way

It's back!

I know some of you have had withdrawal since last year's inaugural Coaches Aid High School Fantasy Football competition in which 89 viewers participated throughout the high school football season.

Just to refresh everyone's memory, Sioux18 won the first-ever event title with 2,331 points and captured a free night's stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites in doing so. Marvelous_D was second with 2,239 points and won himself a $50 gift certificate to OKC Riversport and SWAT was third at 2,232 points for a $25 gift certificate to Earl's Rib Palace.

Everybody starts from scratch beginning this week for the 2nd annual competition and just to refresh everyone's memory, here are the rules.....

1) Each participant will select one quarterback, two runningbacks and two receivers from any high school in the state each week. Selections can all be from the same high school or five different high schools. You MUST list player's first name, last name and school for each of the five positions or that entry will not count.

2) Only one entry per user on the forums.

3) Competition link for each week will be posted by an administrator on Monday on a new thread in our General Football section of our forums.

4) Entries for each week can be posted or edited until 3 p.m. each Thursday when the thread will be locked.

5) Weekly winners and updated fantasy standings for the season will be posted each Tuesday.

6) Contest participants can select an entirely different group of five players each week or stick with the same lineup throughout the season.

7) Points will be awarded for touchdowns as well as passing yardage, rushing yardage or receiving yardage.

8) Judgement of the administrator is final.

Point system as follows:

Passing
1 point for each 25 yards
6 points for each TD

Rushing
1 point for each 10 yards
6 points for each TD

Receiving
1 point for each 10 yards
6 points for each TD

Returns
6 points for any kick return or defensive TD
