That's the way normal transfers are done. If you don't get a hardship you set out a year and are then eligible to participate.

When you live in another district you have to transfer into the district you want to go to. That's what the hardship waivers were made for, kids that live in another district who want to participate in extracurricular activities for the school they transfered to. If the hardship isn't granted you have to set out a full year before you become eligible.

They all got approved. They will have a complete lineup in a couple weeks. I don't know how they pulled this off?

My question is dont you have to live in that schools district to go to that school? One of the kids live about 4 blocks from dustin school and about 5 miles from Graham. I under stand about the transfer issue, but thats after you have moved into that schools district. I belive the parents at Jones and all the football schools that have had to forfit games ect... would love to question this. They used rule 8 section 2-a-1 t to make them forfit after the kid had moved into the school district. i dont care where they play, i live in graham district and grandkids live in dustin. I had heard that Dustin wasnt going to have a team because all the players had be recruited to go Graham. That coming from my Gradnson who did play last year. I just think rules should be followed for everyone. I

Maybe the OSSAA needs to answer to Channel 2 Works for you. Explain how almost an entire team from one school can transfer to a nearby school following their coach, because "he is a father figure"? Explain how the OSSAA can allow the execuse, "I didn't know that was illegal." Explain how a single man who coaches for a living can gain custody of Lord knows how many HS students, all that happen to be good ball players, on an Oklahoma teaching salary and a Class B coaching stipend?

Three of the boys from Graham have to sit out a year. They can only play JV.
