CORY BRIGGS, Selinsgrove: The quarterback completed 7-of-9 passes for 115 yards and three touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown in a 42-0 win over Montoursville.

EUGENE BYRD, North Catholic: He rushed for 123 yards on eight carries as his team defeated Conwell-Egan in a Class AAAA semifinal game at Plymouth Whitemarsh

CHRISTIAN BRUMBAUGH, South Fayette: The 6-foot-3, 195-pound junior quarterback was 17-of-23 for 272 yards and three scores in a 35-15 win over Beaver.

MIKE CAPUTO, West Allegheny: The 6-foot-1, 195-pound junior running back ran for 212 yards and scored Knoch 31-17.

CODY COOK, Beaver Falls: The 5-foot-9, 180-pound senior running back rushed for 238 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 42-14 win over Steel Valley.

ANTHONY GONZALEZ, Liberty: The quarterback rushed for 251 yards and four scores and added 114 yards passing and two scoring passes in a 39-21 win over Freedom.

JIM LAMB, Penn Charter: He rushed for 143 yards on 15 carries, ran for a touchdown and caught another in a 37-20 win over Episcopal Academy.

COLIN MASTERMAN, Ridley: The quarterback had touchdown passes of 10, 55 and 5 yards in a 28-o win over Upper Darby.

ROB MCCURDY, Radnor: He had touchdown receptions of 31 and 20 yards, the latter of which came in the final seconds of a 24-20 win over Marple Newton. 

JOHN MATARAZZO, New Castle: The 6-foot-3, 215-pound sophomore was 12-of-15 for 333 yards with two touchdowns in a 45-38 win over Greensburg Salem.

MATT MCCANN, Keystone Oaks: The 6-foot, 187-pound junior running back rushed for 216 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 27-0 win over Burrell.

DAVID MILLER, Greensburg Central Catholic: The 5-foot-10, 210-pound senior running back picked up 213 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 35-6 win over Freeport.

SKYLER MORNHINWEG, St. Joseph’s Prep: The quarterback tossed four touchdown passes, including two to Bobby D’Orazio, and threw for 245 yards in a 34-0 win over Roman Catholic.

BRANDON PEPPER, Pennsbury: The quarterback ran for 102 yards and three scores on 18 carries to lead his team to a 27-20 win over Neshaminy.

KYLE SMITH, Lancaster Catholic: The quarterback threw for 190 yards and four scores on 13-of-23 passing to lead his team to a 51-28 victory over ELCO.

JORDAN STEWART, Lancaster Catholic: The running back ran for 136 yards and a pair of scores to lead his team to a 51-28 victory over ELCO.

BOYS SOCCER

KYLE BENSON, Conemaugh Township: He scored the game-winning goal with just under 20 minutes remaining to give his team a 2-1 win over Fannett-Metal in the District 5 title game.

CODY HESS, Tulpehocken: He scored the game’s lone goal to lift his team to a 1-0 victory over previously undefeated Palmyra in the semifinals of the District 3 Class AAA playoffs.

JOSH LINEAWEAVER, Palmyra: He made three saves in penalty kicks to lead his team to victory over Northern York in the quarterfinals of the District 3 Class AA tournament.

ROBBIE SNYDER, Camp Hill: His goal midway through the first half was all his team needed in a 2-0 victory over York Catholic in a District 3 Class A semifinal game.

TY TRAINOR, Seton LaSalle: The senior forward scored four goals in a 6-3 win over Freedom, giving his team a berth in the PIAA tournament.

GIRLS SOCCER

MISHA DEMCHUCK, Seneca Valley: The freshman midfielder scored a goal 2:52 into overtime to give the Raiders a 2-1 win over Canon-McMillan in the WPIAL Class AAA semifinals.

CASSIE RAYMOND, South Park: The junior forward scored her 22nd goal of the season to give South Park a 1-0 win over Beaver, snapping her opponent’s 16-game winning streak.

KATY TRONEL, Downingtown East: She scored twice in a 4-0 win over Villa Joseph Marie in the District 1 Class AAA title game.

FIELD HOCKEY

MARIE ELENA BOLLES, Villa Maria: She scored a goal and dished out two assists in a 4-0 win over Sacred Heart in the District I Class AA championship game.

STEFANI DAY, Palmyra: He successful penalty stroke late in the second half lifted her team to a 1-0 victory over Lancaster Mennonite in the District 3 Class AA consolation game.

 MADDY HARDING, Central Buck South: She scored a goal in a 3-0 win over Owen J. Roberts in the District 1 Class AAA championship game.

JENNA HUNTER, Donegal: Her goal off an assist from Laura Gebhart with fewer than 15 minutes remaining proved to be the difference in a 2-1 victory over Palmyra in a District 3 Class AA semifinal.

BROOKE STRETCH, Archbishop Prendergast: She scored three goals in an 8-0 win over Northeast in the District 12 Class AAA championship game.

VOLLEYBALL

COURTNEY CLEARY, Hanover: She recorded 21 digs and 18 aces to lead her team to a 3-0 victory over Lititz Christian.

MEGAN FORBES, Hempfield: She pounded 14 kills to lead her team to a 25-14, 25-17, 26-24 victory over Spring Grove in the District 3 Class AAA title match.

ALI GANTZ, Spring Grove: The setter posted 36 assists, 13 digs and 2 kills to lead her team to a 25-17, 25-21, 23-25, 17-25, 15-8 victory over Warwick in a District 3 Class AAA quarterfinal.

JULIE HARVEY, Hatboro-Horsham: She had 19 kills and six blocks in a 25-15, 24-26, 24-26, 25-8, 25-10 win over St. Basil in the third-place match of the District 1 Class AAA tournament.

LINDSAY HASBROUCK, Maplewood: The junior outside hitter registered a match-high 17 kills to hand Sharpsville its first loss of the season, 26-28, 25-20, 25-15.

SARAH KIELY, Bishop Shanahan: She had 14 kills to help lead her team to a 25-16, 16-25, 25-19, 25-18 win over Council Rock North in the title match of the District 1 Class AAA tournament.

HALEY MARETT, Wilmington: The junior setter registered five kills, 20 assists and 16 digs in a 13-25, 25-18, 25-19 over Fort LeBoeuf.

DANIELLE SAMPLE, McDowell: The junior setter helped McDowell capture the District 10 Class AAA championship with a 25-6, 25-12, 25-22 win over Strong Vincent. She had five digs and eight assists.

DIAMND SORRELLS, Hanover: She recorded 14 kills and 2 blocks to lead her team to a 3-0 victory over Lititz Christian.

NICOLE WHITE, Cochranton: The outside hitter had 10 kills in a 25-19, 25-7, 25-11 win over Union City. She also recorded seven kills and 15 digs in a 25-22, 25-20, 25-22 victory over Saegertown.
