Ryan Izzo, Walpole: Izzo was limited to just 28 yards, but the senior broke the state’s all-time scoring record with a first-quarter touchdown from two yards out. The UMass lacrosse-bound senior broke Nathan Sherr’s all-time mark of 682 yards, which was set from 2003-2006 at Austin Prep. Izzo added a two-point conversion and now sits at 686 points with one game left. Walpole takes on Weymouth on Thanksgiving Day.
Nick LaSpada, Billerica: The sophomore quarterback helped the Indians to the Merrimack Valley Conference championship with an impressive 430 all-purpose yards. He threw five touchdowns in Billerica’s rout of Central Catholic.
Scott McCummings, Natick: In a playoff-clinching win over Walpole, McCummings tossed for 232 yards and ran for another 122 yards.
Tyllor McDonald, Lynn English: McDonald was the key for the Bulldogs in Week 10 against Peabody. He threw for 219 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 130 yards and two TDs.
Obi Melifonwu, Grafton: Melifonwu gathered 310 all-purpose yards and scored five times to help Grafton past Uxbridge. The win helped the Indians stay alive in the Central Mass. playoff race.
Derek Newcomb, Weymouth: Newcomb scored five touchdowns and amassed 286 all-purpose yards to lead the Wildcats over Braintree.
Jamison Craft, Gardner: Craft ran for 260 yards to help lead the Wildcats over Fitchburg.
Leon Barnes, Bedford: Barnes ran for 245 yards and an unbelievable seven touchdowns in the Buccaneers’ rout of Wayland.
Mike Barthelette, East Longmeadow: Barthelette joins the Hot List once again with a 245-yard, three-touchdown effort for the Spartans.
Jaron Hargrove, Concord-Carlisle: Hargrove ran for 238 yards and four TDs to help Concord-Carlisle stay in the DCL Small hunt with a win over Tyngsboro.
Sean Amaru, Westwood: Amaru rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns in Westwood's win over Medfield in Week 10.
Nick Tessier, Oxford: Tessier, a junior, ran for 227 yards and five touchdowns to pace the Pirates over Quaboag.
Eddie Green, Chicopee: Green ran for 220 yards and scored four touchdowns to help the Pacers rout rival Chicopee Comp in the annual inter-city Sword Game.
John Robinson, Springfield Cathedral: Robinson ran for 215 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 10.
Anthony Namakeo, Westfield: Namakeo ran for 197 yards and found the end zone five times in the Bombers' win over South Hadley.
