EDDIE WILLIAMS, PANAMA CITY BEACH ARNOLD: The sophomore quarterback rushed for four touchdowns, passed for another and returned a punt and a kickoff for scores in the Marlins’ 61-27 win against Gulf Breeze. The punt return went for 49 yards, and the kickoff return for 93 yards.
DALLAS CRAWFORD, SOUTH FORT MYERS: The Wolfpack quarterback threw for 340 yards and six touchdowns and rushed for 103 yards and another score as South Fort Myers downed Gulf Coast, 65-27. Three of his TD passes were to Sammy Watkins, who finished the game with 162 receiving yards on only four receptions.
CRAIG DAVIS, BOYNTON BEACH: Davis caught five passes from Marcus Davis for 184 yards and two touchdowns as the Tigers defeated West Palm Beach Forest Hill, 35-0. Marcus Davis finished 7-for 13 for 185 yards.
LAMARCUS JOYNER, FORT LAUDERDALE ST. THOMAS AQUINAS: After Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes had scored early in the fourth quarter to cut the Raiders’ lead to 28-21, Joyner returned the ensuing kickoff 93 yards to extend the lead and St. Thomas Aquinas went on to defeated Byrnes 42-34 and remain the No. 1 team in the country. "God gave me the talent to see stuff on kickoff returns," Joyner said. "I feel as though that's my specialty." Joyner also caught a 52-yard pass from Jacob Rudock – his only reception of the night.
JOHN PERRY, BRANFORD: The senior recorded his second 300-yard rushing game of the season as Branford defeated Jacksonville Paxon, 33-26. Perry accounted for 363 yards of the Buccaneers’ offense. On the ground, he had 343 yards on 29 carries with two touchdowns. He also caught one pass for 20 yards and returned a punt for 62 yards.
FRED PICKETT, PAHOKEE: Pickett ran for 259 yards and three touchdowns and caught three passes for another 74 yards as the Blue Devils defeated North Broward Prep, 31-20.
LOYUCHEIZ PURIFOY, PENSACOLA PINE FOREST: The junior had 185 yards rushing and another 90 receiving as the Eagles defeated Tallahassee Lincoln, 48-17. Purifoy totaled 220 yards on his three scoring plays.
CORDARRYL ROGERS, RUTHERFORD: The senior rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns, passed for another and nabbed an interception in the Rams’ 21-7 win over Pensacola Washington.
JAVAN SHASHATY, FORT LAUDERDALE CALVARY CHRISTIAN: The sophomore was 21-for-36 for 291 yards and four touchdowns, including a 10-yard TD pass to Shawn Lashbrook on the first play of overtime to give Calvary a 44-41 win against West Palm Beach King’s Academy in Class 1A-7 action.
L.J. THOMAS, BELLE GLADE GLADES CENTRAL: Despite only playing the first half, the senior quarterback was 7-for-11 for 274 yards and three touchdown passes to lead the Raiders in a 46-0 win over Clewiston.
