Notes: The Spring Valley Timberwolves have had to earn their spot at number two. At 6-0, The Timberwolves have already beaten George Washington on their home turf, and this weekend hosted the Scarlet Knights, winning 27-9. Their next big test will be against Capital (3-2), October 16, the same week that Bridgeport faces Fairmont Senior (5-0).

Notes: Bridgeport sailed past a talented Robert C. Byrd (3-2) squad, 52-6, on the road. The Indians next opponent with a winning schedule is not for another 3 weeks. They will play host to an also undefeated Fairmont Senior (5-0). George Washington is back in the top ten at number nine after a big win against Parkersburg and their star running back, Allan Wasonga.

Notes: Magnolia (5-0) defeated unbeaten Monroe Central, Ohio this week to hold on to the number one spot. Keyser enters the top ten at number 9 after an impressive shutout against previously ranked Class AAA Hampshire. After losing its first two games to top-ranked teams, Keyser is on a 3-0 run.

Notes: The top two teams didn’t move this week after both coming off huge wins on the road. Madonna snapped a five game winning streak for Bridgeport, Ohio’s Bulldogs (5-1), winning 22-8. Man also faced a tough opponent in the Fayetteville (4-2), but emerged victorious, 22-7. Fayetteville dropped to ninth place after being handed a second loss on the season, nonetheless by way of two undefeated teams. Pendleton County is now in contention for top of the class, representing tenth place after 46-7 win at home against East Hardy (3-3). Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish (PR - 4th place) have some work to do after falling at home to Buffalo Putnam (2-3) this weekend, 18-21.
