GameTracker Week 7

With a weekend of great weather ahead of us, high school football games should go on without the delays we experienced last weekend.

Thursday

Star Valley takes on Lander at home on Thursday. This game should be a test of Lander's defense, but if the past is any way of predicting the future, Star Valley should dominate with a spread offense.

Friday

Torrington travels to Buffalo on Friday.  Last weekend Torrington lost in what many would call upset against Riverston, they'll be looking to prove they belong at #3. That said, Buffalo, coming off two consecutive wins, is gearing up for a home showdown with Torrington and their high powered offense.  This game should decide the number two seed in the 3A East and most importantly get on the opposite side of the playoff bracket as the Douglas team.

Cody takes on Powell on the road this weekend. Cody possesses a stingy defense giving up under ten points per game on the season while ranking just behind Powell in total defense.  Ball security and red zone efficiency is going to be imperative in this game as the offenses won't get too many opportunities.

Douglas, the defending state champs, will Travel to Riverton on Friday. After upsetting Torrington last weekend, Riverton comes to this game with momentum. That said you can bet Douglas isn't overlooking Riverton after Monday's upset. Offensively, Douglas has steamrolled the opposing defenses scoring 278 points thus far, and chances are this will be a high scoring game - and fun to watch.

Where did we go? No coverage of 2A or 1A or scores from the weekend? I enjoy this site and hope everything is ok.
