JIMMIE TIMMINS, Curtis: With senior star Dominique Easley sidelined with turf toe for crucial PSAL battle against Staten Island rival Tottenville, the 6-3, 210 pound Timmins stepped forward to register a team-leading 12 tackles and three sacks in 36-14 dismantling of Pirates. Hard-hitting Warriors D have now allowed just 14 points over their last four games.

SHAQUAN COLES, Curtis: Ever-elusive speedster exploded for season-high 210-yards and a pair of scores in sparking the Warriors' offense to a come-from-behind 36-14 Championship Division win over borough nemesis Tottenville. Behind Coles, the Curtis offense rolled up 282-yards on the ground, averaging better than seven yards per carry. Coles now has a PSAL-leading 884 yards rushing.

DEAN MARLOWE, Holy Cross: Long rated as one of the state's top quarterbacks, the James Madison-bound senior again displayed why, rushing for two scores and throwing for another in Knights' 28-7 win over Monsignor Farrell. In all, Marlowe accounted for 262 yards as Holy Cross improved to 4-1 and remained a game behind CHSFL front-running St. Josephs.

MALIK BURKS, Baker: Want to know just how dominant Burks' season has been? Consider the senior speedster rushed for 187-yards and averaged nearly nine yards a carry against Central Square last week and still his averages fell. Burks' four touchdowns continued his streak of multiple scores in all six of Bees' victories thus far this season.

AKIL ROBINSON, Erasmus: Junior speedster assured the Dutchmen of owning Brooklyn bragging rights yet another season after scampering 45-yards on a reverse with less than two-minutes remaining to lift Erasmus to an improable 18-16 win over Boys &Girls. Robinson's heroics allowed the Dutchmen dreams of an unbeaten season to live at least another week.

DAVID CAMPESE, Bishop Grimes: Strong-armed, senior quarterback completed 17 of 32 passes for 238-yards and a pair of touchdowns in Cobras' thrilling 21-20 win over Onondaga. DEVONTAI CARLIE, Sheepshead Bay: Powered for 189 yards and four touchdowns in surging Sharks 37-14 win over Grady. Carlie also snared a touchdown pass from quarterback DeeJay White, as Sheepshead won its fourth straight following 0-2 start. Kamron Humphrey added 15 tackles for the victors.

JON DERBYSHIRE, Tottenville: Senior quarterback's valiant effort in 36-14 loss to Curtis was one of team's few bright spots. Against stout Curtis defense, Monsignor Farrell transfer threw for 261-yards and rushed for Pirates only two touchdowns.

RICKY JOSEPH, Thomas Jefferson: Joseph threw touchdown passes of 40, 39, 30 and 14-yards to spark host Jefferson to 38-8 blowout win over Bowl Division rival FDR. On the day, the senior signal-caller finished with 280 yards passing, as the Orange Wave remained on course with John Adams as the conference's only two remaining unbeatens.

LAFAYETTE FOOTBALL: Senior Troy Greaves booted a 22-yard field goal with just a second remaining, propelling the Patriots to a 9-7 victory over Stuyvesant and ending their 32-game losing streak and more than three seasons of futility.

DEVONTE ARTHUR and JOSEPH GARCIA, South Bronx: Both caught touchdown passes from quarterback Michael Walker and added interceptions in 41-0 win over Smith, as Phoenix stayed knotted with Automotive atop the Cup Division standings at 6-0.

DAVON COLLINS, New Utrecht: Utes' senior back made the most of his seven carries, barreling for 240-yards and three touchdowns in Utrecht's 34-0 rout of James Madison. Collins scored on jaunts of 88 and 52- yards, running his season-total to 750-yards and ranking him among the city's leading rushers.

LUKE RANKIE, Lockport: Lions' senior star had a hand in 14 tackles (four solos) in leading Lockport to 42-14 thumping of Kenmore West. Doubling as a wideout, the 6-3, 205 Rankie also added a pair of catches for 48 yards.

BOYS SOCCER

FRANCES LEWIS: Fadil Paljevic, Sam Mignon and Sebastian Guenzatti: High-octane trio of stars all notched goals in Lewis' 3-0 win over Bayside. Guenzatti's goal, his league-leading 11th, further justified his status as one of ESPN's national players to watch.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

JASON STAPLETON, Curtis: With a time of 12:46.67, Warriors' star finished first in recent 2.5 mile Mayor's Cup Cross Country Championship at Van Cortlandt Park.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

SUSAN WAGNER TEAM: Falcons bested Fontbonne Hall in three sets to claim the Aviator Tournament in Brooklyn recently with senior setter Emily Burke being crowned tourney MVP. The tourney title, Wagner's second of the season, came on the heels of last week's Tottenville Tournament win.

NICOLE ZELEK, Hunter College High: Headhunters didn't drop a set all tourney in bagging the Seward Park Tournament crown. And Zelek was as responsible for that as anyone, earning MVP honors.

ASHLEY GRUBLER, Cardozo: Following in the footsteps of older sister Mallory, now a star collegiate player, sophomore hitter has recorded 25 kills in just three league matches

SHANNON APPEL and ANNA ALEKSANDROVSKAY, Midwood: Versatile tandem lead the unbeaten, Manhattan A3 Division Hornets in virtually every statistical category. In four matches Aleksandrovskay has posted 45 assists, 16 service points and 10 aces, while Appel has notched 21 kills, 10 aces, four blocks and three kills.

GIRLS SOCCER

LEA COHEN, Kingsbridge/Riverdale: Lady Tigers star midfielder scored one goal and assisted on another in 2-1 win over host Clinton, sparking Riverdale to its fifth straight win in the Bronx A-1 Division.

STEPHANIE MAZURSKY, Bronx Science: Scored two goals and dished out an assist in leading the unbeaten Wolverines (10-0) in 8-0 whitewashing of Kennedy.

GIRLS SWIMMING

ANNA ZHU, Brooklyn Tech: Defending 200 IM Federation/NYPHSAA state champ returns to again lead Tech in its quest for a Brooklyn Division crown. Zhu's Federation time of 2:02.35 set a new PSAL record last season.

SARA GIBERRSON, Tottenville: Lady Pirates junior star hopes to dive in where she left off last season when she posted top times in five of the eight individual swim events.
