Lee (Springfield) saw its perfect season blemished with a 28-21 loss at Lake Braddock, formerly in the top 10. The Lancers’ fall coincides with the rise of L.C. Bird. Despite 140 yards in penalties, the Skyhawks beat fellow unbeaten Cosby 21-14.

Note: Over the course of the season, Group A has provided the most shuffling of positioning. Not so this week. In fact, there is no movement. While Buckingham County and West Point served its respective bye weeks, seven of the top ten won by more than 20 points. The only tight one came when J.J. Kelly sweated out a 16-14 victory over Lee.
