Central
Offensively they are hitting on all cylinders. Connor Long is fast, accurate and very deceptive with the ball. The tailback position is dangerous, whether it be Mike Davis or Austin Breckenridge they both have skills that find holes created by that terrific offensive line. Kyle Grott, Kevin Cox or Josh Borm are all outstanding receivers that do a workman like job blocking for one another downfield. Defensively, welcome to the Triangle of Terror! Sophomore Matt Carver is second in the state in defensive points at middle linebacker while Ryan Kuster and Hayden Jones shore up the outside from their defensive end positions. Try to pass on the Indians and you have to contend with Long and Grott defending from their cornerback positions.
East
Going five wide and airing it out with sophomore quarterback Travis Hinker, East is able to light up scoreboards on any given evening. Hinker's favorite target is junior Jeremiah Hunter who is tall, athletic and catches everything thrown in his direction. Defensively the TBirds are lead by Garcia and Renner.
Rock Springs
Dual threat quarterback Wesley Padilla has the ability to run over linebackers or toss the ball to speedy slot back Jazz Bozner out in the flat and let him make plays. Power back Luke Aust wears defenses down with his hard running style. Defensively Rex Ryan garners the most points but DB Taylor Chesnovar is their big hitter as he comes up in run support.
Green River
Colter Rood and Cooper Palmer get the bulk of the carries but juniors Jake Walker and Cody Smart are explosive and keep defenses off balance. WR Zach Kennah makes defenses pay when they try to stack the box to stop the run against the Wolves by scoring touchdowns over the top. QB Drew Martinez is electric with the ball and is gaining confidence in the passing game with the emergence of Kennah and TE Jordan Carroll. Defensively-Tommy Thoman, Palmer, and Rood are always around the ball punishing ball carriers while Martinez leads the team in points and is always ready for a pick-six from his safety position.
Kelly Walsh
RB Tom Manning is a tank running the ball between the tackles with QB Lucas Nolan being lightening fast around the corner. The Trojan line is big and very physical. Defensively-Malachi Bennett is one of the state's most sure tacklers and forces teams to run away from him. Nolan is a terrific corner with a nose for the ball leading the state in interceptions.
Natrona
Clay Brownell is a bruising runner with an arm to deliver a strike 30 yards down field. Cody Parke is the more precise passer and Cole Montgomery is a workhorse getting the ball all over the field. Kyle Vinich has great hands and runs precise routes. Defensively-Brownell is always making a tackle and DL Jedekia May requires a double team on nearly every play.
Sheridan
Austin Woodward is the Tim Tebow of Wyoming football! Woodward is as fast as any player on the field, runs well between the tackles, throws the deep ball accurately, and leads the state in punt average. TJ Stender, Kody Williams and Will Hendrickson all have the speed to turn a short dump pass into an 80 yard touchdown at any time. Defensively- Don Jullian is the head coach so the scheme is sound with multiple defenders in position to make plays. Woodward leads the team in points on this side of the ball as well but Sheridan is all about the scheme and positioning.
Gillette
Alan Sisel owns one state championship ring and currently leads the state in passing in his third year as the Camel's signal caller. WR Steve Turpin is too fast to cover with a linebacker and too physical for a corner to handle. Jordan Roberts balances the offensive attack from his tailback position. Defensively-Cammry Nelson and Jaxen Lindhorst lead the team in points.
Evanston
Jack Lambert is a left handed quarterback that delivers downfield. He runs well, though not real fast, he makes plays and is accurate in his reads. Corey Huntley is a workhorse on both sides of the ball. The Red Devil tackle is probably the best pulling lineman in the state opening up lanes for the Red Devils to sweep. Defensively- a physical team lead by four standout defenders:Huntley, Cody Pazej, Scott Davis and Jose Campos.
Laramie
QB Jon Sorenson leads the team in both rushing and passing. Dan Estes is a threat on the ground or out of the backfield catching passes. This team is lead by defensive standout and the state's top point earner Luke Knapton. Tyler English has also been known to deliver a big shot and is a sure tackler.
