The blizzard like conditions seen across the state tonight.

It was a cold night across the state of South Dakota; most games even saw some snow before the end of the game, especially in South Eastern South Dakota.

The night began with the Lincoln Patriots hosted Rapid City Stevens at Howard Wood Field in Sioux Falls in a very exciting game. The Stevens Raiders scored first on a Hayden Hast to Alex Litzen connection for a 7-0 lead. Nate Noel and Nick Southwick connect for Lincoln to tie the game at 7-7 in the 2nd quarter. Raiders ran an end around to Alex Litzen who scampered down the field 52 yards to give Stevens back the lead at 14-7. Alex Schnell intercepted the Patriots Noel, which led to a Hast TD run for a Stevens 21-7 lead. The Raiders struck pay dirt again in the 2nd half on a fake end around run by Demetrius Ryan that was good for the 44 yard TD. Lincoln struggling on offense could not get much going, got some points on defense as a safety was the result of a bad snap on a punt. Lincoln would drive with 2 minutes left in the game and Noel connected with Trey Naasz for a 3 yard touchdown pass, and converted the two point conversion for a 28-17 deficit, but the game was over as they failed on the ensuing onside kick. It ended up being a 28-17 final victory for Rapid City Stevens.

In Flandreau the Flyers and Sioux Valley Cossacks played in a battle of 4-1 records, and the game went back and forth between after a few lead changes before. Flandreau would come out on top 19-18.
